Amy T. Zielinski spent over a decade in New York City photographing musicians and artists before relocating to London. The daughter of a pianist/music teacher, her childhood was filled with the sounds of the piano triggering a life long relationship with music.

Her images documenting the launch of critically acclaimed pianist, singer and songwriter, Broadway actress Nellie McKay’s career gained industry attention cementing enduring collaborations with the artist and her contemporaries.

She has been a senior picture editor at Getty Images in London and New York, reviewing daily editorial news imagery while working at major arts and awards festivals in Cannes, Venice, Rome, Nashville, New York and Los Angeles. As a contributing photographer at Getty Images, Amy covers the classical music genre for the Redferns collection, providing coverage of solo, orchestral and chamber performances including the BBC Proms and The International Piano Series at Southbank Center.
